BEACH

Tropical beach just after sunrise

The golden sun dances on the sparkling waves, a soft sea breeze tugs at your hair, and the wet sand oozes between your toes. A pair of tiny Compsognathus covered in bright scarlet down scamper away as you approach. The coastline runs north for a hundred leagues or more but continues south for only a couple of miles before turning west to round the southern tip of the Wildwood and continuing on toward the Majestic Mountains beyond. There is a sandy trail running west from here through some light woods, and a few hundred yards to the north is a small, sandy cove. Not far to the south is an enchanting waterfall.

Tiny dinosaur running. Compsognathus.
