You are in a narrow, rocky canyon running between high, craggy cliffs. Striated pillars of rock
thrust up from the ground, amid collapsed arches and tumbled boulders from the heights above. Here
and there a few hardy plants grow in the shady crevices. Near the western end, the greenery is much
more plentiful and lush. The air here is cooler but more humid.
The canyon runs east for awhile and then bends off to the south. To the
west stands the remains of an ancient, stone statue, now weathered beyond recognition. There is a large
opening just beyond.
