You are in the Wine Cellar. Two tall, electric candelabras light the chamber. There is a collection
of colored wine bottles in handsome cherry-wood racks all along the walls
and a thick wine-rum-amber patterned throw rug on the smooth stone floor. A pyramid of small oaken
casks rests on a wooden stillage beside a set of polished metal rungs on the east wall that lead
up. And a paraffin lamp hangs from a wall rack next to a heavy oak
door on the south wall.
