You are standing on the shore of a green, bottomless lake. Overhead looms a tall, flat-topped cone of dark, volcanic rock,
casting its long shadow across the water. The forest is considerably thinner here and the grass grows tall and wild.
From a shadowy cleft high above you can hear the cawing of a large family of
crows who have their roost there. Far below the raucous group, a dark
form leisurely moves in the depths of the lake, occasionally breaking the surface with quiet, rippling sounds. An overgrown
path leads away from the lake to the southeast.
