You are on the west bank of a great river next to a roaring waterfall. Pale rainbows dance and shimmer in the mist at the base of the falls. A brightly colored quetzal bird warbles from its perch high above as you pass underneath. From within the thick foliage, an ophidian statue of gray lava rock peers at you with eyes of green volcanic glass - its carved plumes seeming to rustle in the feathery breeze. Just beyond, a partially concealed path leads northwest toward a looming horn of dark rock. The riverbank continues south.
