SIDE PORCH

This is a short, covered porch at the southeastern edge of the house, just off the round room. A round hammock swing affixed to the ceiling above occupies the central area, a Moonlighter frisbee caught between a fringed pillow and the netting. Set in one corner is a burl wood table and two chairs. On the table lies a colorful gameboard with several tiny, plastic pieces placed about it. In the opposite corner a frazzled broom is propped next to a small stack of kindling. A soft breeze stirs the wind chimes above, bringing the scent of blooming lavender and tuberose from a window box nearby. . .

A blue flagstone path leads around the side yard to the front of the house. And just at the edge of the woods is a little blue shed.
